Moccasin Tracks Charities, Inc.
I lead
Moccasin Tracks, a small, nimble 501(c)3 charity based on the traditional
Native American teaching that women and children are to be respected and cared
for as the source of life and hope of the future. We specialize in responding
quickly and without fanfare, especially to help those mothers and children in
need who may not fit the stricter guidelines of the government agencies and
other charities. It might be a mother who needs some diapers or enough gas in
her car to get to the grocery store. It might be a family who lost their
clothes in a fire. Sometime caring is as simple as the gift of a blanket in
winter.
We’ve
helped:
- ·
victims of the 2010 Middle Tennessee floods
- families of the Lakota reservations of South
Dakota
- ·
families of the Navajo reservation of New Mexico
- ·
Murrow Children’s Home in Oklahoma
- ·
House of Mercy, Nashville, TN
- ·
countless individual families in and around
Middle Tennessee.
Moccasin
Tracks neither seeks nor receives government funding, but depends on caring
individuals for operating funds. Please include our ministry in your personal
giving, and mothers and children in need will thank you without end.
